Description
OE replacement fuel additive pump.
This can be used to repair your fuel additive tank when there is an internal pump fault.
This is only suitable for fuel additive tanks where there is a white removable face plate on your tank. if your tank has a sealed white face plate, this will not be suitable for you.
In order to swap the pump, the face plate must be detatched by releasing the plastic holding clips to then expose your original circuit board and pump. The original faulty pump can now easily be disconnected and removed from the circuit board and the new pump installed. Once reconnected to the circuit board, the white face plate can be clipped back into position.
The procedure does not require any programming unlike when you purchase and install a complete new tank.
Please note, this repair will only fix faulty pump issues with your fuel additive tank. If you are experiencing issues where there is lack of communcation with your fuel additive tank, then this will not resolve your issue.
