IMPORTANT – INJECTOR CODING / PROGRAMMING
This injector must be installed and programmed using the appropriate marque-specific dealer-level diagnostic software, including any required coding, calibration, initialisation and relearn procedures. Simply entering an injector code using a generic multi-marque diagnostic tool does not necessarily complete the manufacturer’s required procedure.
An injector may start and appear to operate without being correctly programmed, but this does not confirm correct operation under all running conditions. Correct programming, correct application and a clean/fault-free fuel system must therefore be confirmed before an injector is considered defective.
For any fault or warranty claim, we may require evidence of the diagnostic equipment used and confirmation that the manufacturer’s programming procedure was completed. Without this evidence, an alleged injector fault cannot be reliably verified.
